    Job DescriptionJob Summary:
    ProStaffing has partnered with a local paper manufacturer in the Lenoir area is looking for dependable and ambitious candidates to join their team

    The work schedule is a 4:00pm to 2:00am Mon-Thurs, some overtime on Fridays. The pay is $17.00/hr including the shift differential.

    A machine operator assistant (MOA) is a critical support role, responsible for aiding machine operators in their tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of machinery.

    Your duties as a MOA, will include loading and unloading of materials, monitoring equiment for any signs of malfunction, and assisting in quality control by inspecting and sorting products.

    MOAs play a vital role in optimizing production processes and contributing to the overall productivity and product quality.

    Additional responsibilities will be:
    • Assist the machine operator as needed.
    • Prepare the finished product for shipping.
    • Box and/or wrap finished product as needed.
    • Load raw material onto machines.
    • Operate crane to move material as needed.
    • Inspect finished goods to ensure high quality.
    • Enter in data into systems for inventory control.
    • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
    • Indentify and solve immediate and short term machine quality, waste, delay or any safety issues.
    • Communicate nature of machine healthy issues to maintenance/supervisor for identification and resolutions.
    • Keep records up to date and communicate fully with other team members.
    • Minimize production scrap by adhering to operational guidelines, conducting regular equipment inspections, and promptly addressing any deviations to ensure optimal machine performance and product quality.
    • Operate machine wrapper to include, changeover, alignment, control setting, and other tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of hand tools and technical understanding. Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
    • Ability to operate forklift or other lift equipment is a plus.
    • Must have the physical ability to perform manual labor, which may include climbing, bending, repetitive motions, standing for a long period, and occasional lifting of more than 45 pounds.
