    Customer Care Unit Specialist

    The Customer Care Unit Specialist plays a crucial role in the daily operations of our inbound contact center service efforts, handling customer inquiries, processing transactions, and troubleshooting problems to identify opportunities for referring or selling additional products or services based on customer needs.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Assists customers with payments and transactions as a virtual teller, processes loan applications, and opens new accounts via phone and internet.
    • Provides timely and accurate information regarding bank services and resolves issues promptly.
    • Performs operational procedures and maintenance to ensure high-quality customer service.
    • Identifies cross-selling opportunities by uncovering new and existing customer expansion opportunities and refers customers to relevant bank areas.
    • Remains informed about bank services, products, and procedures to effectively serve customers.
    • Demonstrates professional, courteous, and prompt service while showing respect and confidence when assisting customers.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent educational/work experience.
    • At least 1 year of general banking, customer service, or call center experience.
    • The Customer Care Unit operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The ideal candidate must be available to work flexible hours and every other Saturday.

    Key Skills:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; ability to perform simple math and follow written instructions.
    • Lifting up to 30 lbs in an office setting may be required.
