The Monitor Tech is to be responsible for continuous telemetry monitoring.The Monitor Tech is responsible for various tasks including managing the telemetry central workstation and related equipment, coordinating maintenance of telemetry equipment,
notifying biomedical engineering in the event of telemetry equipment failure as needed,
assisting in placing leads and changing batteries promptly,
Delete false alarms every shift,and appropriately notify appropriate nurse of rhythm changes/dysrhythmia immediately.
