    • Position Summary
    • The Clinical Lead Therapist is responsible for assisting the Director in the supervision of the clinical operations of this department. This may include all Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Athletic Training provided by this department. The individual will assist in assuring that quality care is provided in all clinical areas.
    • The Clinical Leader has the authority to assign employees and also the responsibility to direct employees in the workplace. In this role you must exercise independent judgment while performing your job functions on a regular basis and this is a substantial part of your overall job responsibilities. The core responsibilities of the individual's discipline in the evaluation and treatment of patients' remains a primary responsibility of the job.
    • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Entry level degree in the individual's discipline (PT, OT, Speech). Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy preferred.
    • License/Certification: National Certification/Registration and State of Maine License. Current CPR required.
    • Experience: - 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff
    • Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking, prioritizing and medical care coordination
    • Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations
    • Proficient computer skills
