    We are actively seeking a Data Quality Analyst with a strong background in statistics or data science to join our Data Intelligence Group's centralized Data Quality team. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical skill set with expertise in Python and SQL, and a deep understanding of statistical methods and data science principles with a background in anomaly or outlier detection. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our investment data through sophisticated validation, cleansing, and enrichment techniques. You will work in close collaboration with our data teams to develop and implement advanced solutions that significantly improve our data quality frameworks.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Perform advanced statistical analysis to scrutinize and enhance the quality of large datasets across multiple asset classes, ensuring the integrity of in-house data.

    ·Design and deploy innovative systems and algorithms to detect and correct data quality issues, leveraging statistical models and data science methodologies.

    ·Utilize Python, SQL, and other analytical tools to conduct in-depth data validation and analysis, applying statistical techniques where appropriate.

    ·Develop, maintain, and refine scalable solutions and detailed documentation to support data governance and empower data owners.

    ·Work with stakeholders to define precise data requirements, ensuring all data is statistically valid and fit for analytical purposes.

    ·Lead and participate in projects that advance data quality, data literacy, and data management practices, incorporating data science insights.

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

    ·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on statistical analysis.

    ·Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a data quality, data science, or statistical analysis role, preferably within the financial sector.

    ·Demonstrated expertise in statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.

    ·Proficient in data analysis and manipulation using Python (including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn), SQL, and familiarity with data visualization tools.

    ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    ·Strong multitasking abilities and adept at managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

    ·Experience with quality control processes and a keen eye for identifying, managing, and resolving complex data quality issues.

    ·Prior experience with financial data sources such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, and FactSet is highly desirable, along with an understanding of financial markets and instruments.

    With respect to NY- and CA-based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $115000 and $170000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
