Position Title:
Guest Service Representative - Weekend Shift
Job Description:
The Guest Service Representative will be responsible for assisting our guests in person and on the phone. They will work with checking in & checking out guests as well as making reservations for future visitors. They will also be responsible for taking in payment at time of check in. This position is mainly for Saturday and Sunday shifts, 7 AM to 3 PM and 3 PM to 11PM.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION
The Guest Service Representative will be responsible for assisting our guests in person and on the phone. They will work with checking in & checking out guests as well as making reservations for future visitors. They will also be responsible for taking in payment at time of check in.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

*Applicant must have a high school diploma and work experience in an office environment. The candidate will be working either the 7 AM – 3 PM shift or the 3 PM – 11 PM shift with little to no supervision. This person must be flexible with the shift hours. Schedule will be based on bookings and hotel guest's arrivals. The candidate must have office/clerical experience and be able to provide exemplary customer service to all guests of Eagle Ridge Conference Center.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Applicant must have a high school diploma and work experience in an office environment. Must have strong computer skills.
Desirable: Associate's Degree in hospitality or hotel guest services experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES , include the following.
Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate office if needed
Directing visitors to the correct meeting space, guestrooms or office area
Check in/Check out hotel guests using front desk computer software
Collect payments in the form of cash, check, credit card and/or purchase orders
Perform data entry assignments as needed
Take reservations for guestrooms through telephone calls or in person
Assist with light cleaning duties as needed
Other duties may be assigned
