- A minimum of three years experience in automotive service management
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Great attitude and energetic personality with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced environment
- Communicate in a professional courteous manner with customers and employees
- Promote sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories associated with each customer
- Maintain daily sales, production records, and reports as required by dealership management
- Monitor and control all warranty activity and stay in compliance with manufacturer warranty guidelines
- Ensure the service department meets all CSI and financial goals.
- Hire, train, develop and motivate service department personnel and monitor their performance
- Establish and maintain common courtesy shown to customers by all service employees to promote customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with concern for the customer
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure all shop equipment is in proper working condition
