Job Summary
The Medical Director for Primary Care Quality reports to the Assistant Chief Medical Officer for Primary Care with a dotted line to the Associate Chief Population Health Officer Population Health Services Organization PHSO This leader has primary responsibility ensuring execution of core MGB Office of Chief Medical Officer OCMO functions within Primary Care including performance management quality outcomes approximately 40 primary care practices risk capture safety provider performance excellence including OPPE FPPE patient experience health equity clinician well-beingQualifications
- Strong preference given candidates experience within MGB system li MD/DO degree with significant combination clinical administrative experience large academic medical setting board-certified specialty li Advanced business healthcare administration degree desirable not required li A minimum five years progressively responsible leadership hospital setting large healthcare organization proven leadership management skills li Capable working large integrated delivery system many matrixed relationships li Must skilled communicator team-builder Experience quality improvement safety event evaluation health equity patient relations service recovery Exemplary interpersonal communication skills required interact effectively senior management physicians sensitive political confidential issues Regular travel primary care practices expected It expected role take minimum FTE combined expected clinical work ul>
