    Job Purpose and Impact


    The Marketing Lead CAN(Cargill Animal Nutrition) will identify, develop and lead world class B2B marketing strategies and initiatives delivered through a cross functional and global team.

    In this role, you will, together with a cross functional team, develop and apply the knowledge of the business to deliver compelling value propositions that resonates with customers and deliver business goals as well as lead the use of specific marketing strategies to launch and position brands, products and services in the CAN business.

    You will direct the coordination of marketing plans and launch programs that are aimed to create demand and maximize growth of the CAN business with direct and more specific coordination of the Ruminants species globally.

    Key Accountabilities

    Drive brand value through distinctive marketing to develop and implement unique and compelling strategic positioning as well as overall exceptional customer experience

    Develop and lead the implementation of strategic marketing plans, promotions and annual operational plans working in collaboration with a cross functional team to define the proper resource allocation.

    Collaborate with the sales, category leads and customer insights teams to influence and align marketing initiatives considering channels, brand activations, value propositions and product and category plans, ensuring integrated marketing activities support a consistent customer experience.

    Oversee the planning and creation of marketing, advertising and promotional materials to implement overall marketing strategies and sales objectives globally for the ruminants species.

    Oversee the planning and marketing calendar for CAN ensuring they are structured around financial priorities and key results, with objectives layered over quarter, year and multi year horizons.

    Work closely and in partnership with the species teams at a global and regional level to create and oversee an effective brand strategy that grow and maintain value for the brands in the ruminants business ensuring all brands (business and product level) have a clear role and benefits.

    Build and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

    Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, providing coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.

    You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.
    Minimum of six years of related work experience.
    Experience in global marketing strategy and planning.
    Experience in aligning and executing brand and marketing strategy in a global, decentralized and heavily matrixed organization.
    Preferred Qualifications
    MBA, master's degree in marketing or related field.
    Experience in value proposition development.
    Experience in digital marketing, campaign planning and execution, performance measurement, demand generation and activation and or content delivery.
    Experience in customer co-creation and or customer experience.
    B2B marketing experience incl. brand management for B2B.
    Three years of supervisory experience.
