    We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented salesperson to join our amazing team As the Regional Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our vision by introducing new brands and identifying growth opportunities for established ones such as Mionetto, Freixenet, Segura Viudas, and Gloria Ferrer. Your focus will be on cultivating relationships with selected retailers, distributor chain sales management, and key accounts. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you'll collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and State Sales Managers (SSM) to engage decision-makers of regional retail chains within the Pacific Northwest Region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop direct business relationships with regional retail chain decision-makers in collaboration with RSM and SSM.
    • Cultivate relationships with distributor chain executives, management, and key account managers.
    • Act as the primary liaison for all Regional and National Chains in the Pacific Northwest Region.
    • Identify and leverage opportunities within Regional Chains to expand Freixenet Mionetto USA's market share.
    • Prioritize business development to increase distribution and promotions in the Regional Chain channel.
    • Develop and implement category management and capabilities to drive business growth.
    • Collaborate with distributor merchandising teams to ensure the effective execution of all planner activities.
    • Influence program development to support off-premise channel efforts and provide direction on retail/channel strategies to the marketing department.
    • Develop and execute annual business plans in compliance with Freixenet Mionetto USA's sales strategy and policies.
    • Supervise pricing, programming, and sales incentives for Regional Accounts in coordination with the Director of Sales.
    Requirement Experience and Competencies
    • 10 to 15 years of field sales experience in the wine and spirits industry
    • 5 years of chain management experience
    • Strong experience in calling on retail food, drug, or mass merchandise chains at the headquarters level, preferably in the adult beverage category
    • Sales channels strategic analysis, approach, and planning
    • Planning, organization, and knowledge of the chain business
    • Understanding and ability to improve sales in all areas of the business
    • Leadership ability: relationship management, development, and team building
    • Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience in preparing written presentations, reports, and pricing strategies for all sales channels
    • Proficiency in Nielsen data, IRI data, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as knowledge of Diver Trade Pulse and iDig (VIP)
    This job operates from the Employee's home in the territory in a professional office environment as their base, with outside sales as the predominant work environment.

    Travel:

    Frequent travel requirements outside the local area and overnight (30%-50% expected).

    Ability to travel and work during weekends or evenings as necessary.
