    POSITION TITLE

    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    This position is part of Milliken's Corporate Human Resources team and is located in Spartanburg, SC, at the corporate campus. The position is assigned to one or more Business Unit(s) and is responsible for leading and managing all strategies and processes related to the sourcing, attraction, assessment, and selection of positions for the team(s). The Recruiter reports to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and involves close interaction with the VP of Human Resources for the division(s) they support.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead the creation and implementation of a recruiting strategy that addresses all phases of the recruiting process from hiring needs analysis to filling positions
    • Develop a sourcing strategy to attract top talent for current hiring needs and build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
    • Acquire a deep and thorough understanding of the division's goals businesses, hiring needs, position specifications and requirements
    • Lead the candidate experience to ensure candidates are treated professionally by all members of the recruiting hiring team and have a positive experience throughout the recruiting process
    • Develop consultative partnerships with stakeholders - division leaders, hiring managers, HR Community, and outside sourcing contacts to facilitate high performance in recruitment delivery
    • Contribute to the full scope of key metrics and reports to improve recruiting efficacy including time to fill, quality, acceptance rates, etc.
    • Ensure quality job descriptions are developed for each position
    • Lead continuous improvement efforts regarding recruitment strategies and processes and stay current on trends and innovative practices in talent acquisition
    • Maintain responsibility for entry, maintenance, and integrity of information in our Talent Central system (and/or Applicant Tracking System)
    • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality at all times
    QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
    • BS degree (preferred)
    • 2+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience with professional positions that range in scope from entry level to senior leadership roles or equivalent HR experience
    • In-depth experience sourcing and recruiting via different avenues, including but not limited to cold-calling, internet sourcing and referral generation
    • High attention to accuracy of detailed, confidential information
    • Self-directed with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
    • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with and interpret recruiting related metrics and trends
    The successful candidate will have strengths in the following:
    • Experience recruiting for technical and niche positions (i.e. formulation chemists, synthesis scientists, synthetic chemists, etc.)
    • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
    • Innovative and strategic thought process
    • Oral and written communication skills with ability to influence and communicate with all levels of management
    • Customer service and satisfaction
