We are looking for a dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our landscape services team in Walpole, MA. This full-time, hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential irrigation systems while ensuring healthy, thriving landscapes. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to homeowners in Walpole, MA.
In this position, you will handle both routine maintenance and repair work, collaborating closely with a supportive team to ensure every residential property receives optimal irrigation performance. If you have experience with irrigation systems and are eager to grow your skills in a practical, outdoor-focused environment, this role is an excellent fit.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain residential irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, and sprinkler heads
- Conduct seasonal start-ups, shut-downs, and regular inspections to ensure system efficiency
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues such as leaks, misaligned sprinkler heads, or controller malfunctions
- Adjust irrigation schedules for water efficiency and healthy landscape growth
- Maintain detailed service records and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with team members and homeowners regarding system operation and maintenance
- Support team projects and provide guidance to less experienced technicians as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with residential irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Strong understanding of irrigation components, controls, and troubleshooting techniques
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to customer service
