Procurement/Supply Chain Manager - OCTG

Waller, Texas

Based in Waller, Texas, the Procurement/Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with Sales, Operations and Accounting Departments to develop sales forecasts, strategic planning, global sourcing and procurement objectives for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop key metrics and analysis around product mix and pricing, inventory levels, production capacity and raw materials
• Prepare and maintain competitive bids; negotiate prices, and terms and conditions with pipe suppliers, processing yards, mills and other vendors in the supply chain.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders
• Monitor the performance of suppliers and supply chain; maintain constant communication with suppliers to identify improvement opportunities
• Prepare weekly sales and production analytics
• Research and evaluate potential new suppliers and the goods/services they provide

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Management, Industrial Distribution or equivalent
• 3 to 10 years experience in oil and gas industry with significant OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) procurement and supply chain background
• Background in purchasing commodities
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract development
• Ability to foster and build relationships across functional areas and with vendors
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to manage and organize data
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, MS Dynamics a plus
• Good interpersonal and team-oriented skills
