- Answer phone professionally according restaurant standard Warmly graciously greet all guests upon arrival When possible open front door for guests entering leaving restaurant Know restaurant standards table numbers wait sections menu specials be able answer questions customers may have effectively Take reservations enter Resy according restaurant standards Prompt customer additional information email whenever possible Call out name number party when tables become available Provide guests estimated waiting time Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible Seat guest/guests based preferences balancing customer flow in service stations Be able re-work existing reservations waiter sections accommodate walk-ins unexpected last minute reservations Inform Management staff changes Upon seating offer menu inform server name Inspect table proper presentation completeness Relay messages servers bus manager needed especially guest notes Resy Help with bussing drink service if time warrants Thank guests leave invite them return Be available fill in needed ensure smooth efficient operation restaurant directed by restaurant manager immediate supervisor
