Maintenance Technician

The Facilities & Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of our machinery, equipment, and building systems. This role involves conducting preventive maintenance,
troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues,
and performing repairs to minimize downtime.
We work closely with the Facilities team
to maintain a safe and efficient working environment,
and assist with the installation/upgrading of equipment as necessary.

• Housing Safety:

(** weekly/monthly/bimonthly**)
-Fire safety inspections.-Move in/out inspections.-Routine inspections of HVAC/mechanical equipment.
-Documentation as needed.

-Follow established schedules for regular/equipment/machinery/facility system (such as HVAC/plumbing/lighting/electrical) inspection/responds promptly/maintenance requests/submitted/staff/management/prioritizing based urgency/tackling/troubleshoot/resolving/root causes implementing/repair/corrective actions/basic/e.g :replace light bulbs/doorknobs address leaks/basic /electrical/plumbing repair/update/inventory/necessary parts/tools/supply daily tasks manage snow removal ensure accessible/during business hours/or weekends/events neccessary/post folow ups update management escalate needing coordination maintenace vehicles/minor equip owner leased operate cooperate activities turnover apartments appropriate stock new clients coordinate vendors esthetics clean move prepare program staff following activites ready .,mandating execute orders document wrok completed doing/know
