    **Overview:**

    Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, IN offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Nurse Director to lead our rehabilitation services team. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse leader looking to take on new challenges and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

     

    Salary:$10,000 Sign-On Bonus, plus a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.

     

    Job Description:

    The Chief Nursing Officer serves as a mentor to the nursing team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff. As a senior member of the hospital leadership team, you will actively participate in the oversight and establishment of best practices and standards for hospital clinical services. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality care and service for our patients.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Steer progressive clinical excellence through staff development.
    • Share responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment, and retention.
    • Provide leadership and guidance in establishing standards for nursing and other clinical services under your jurisdiction.
    • Implement company standards of care, policies, and procedures.
    • Evaluate and improve processes to enhance patient outcomes.
    • Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to achieve organizational goals.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
    • Master's degree in Healthcare or a related field preferred.
    • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
    • 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience required.
    • 3 or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity required.
