Job Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of production tasks for manufacturing prescription eyewear.
Employee is responsible for the quality and quantity of the work performed and is expected to know the quality and safety requirements for every operation that they perform.
Primary DutiesMachine operation and hand assembly processes in performance or manufacture of prescription eyewear. Responsible for set-up, operation and basic maintenance of equipment in lab production.
Experience/Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Optical Lab work experience
Ability to multi-task
Must be highly detail-oriented
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude helpful
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision
Excellent lensometry skills required.
