- This role oversees all plant engineering functions including manufacturing engineering, process engineering, tooling, facility and equipment maintenance.
- Liaises with teams to drive activities related to continuous improvement (e.g., cycle times, scrap, quality, material cost reduction,regrind implementation).
- Reviews and establishes justifications for capital appropriation requests and department budgets.
- Promotes plans for process improvement with specific areas of accountability in its execution.
- Supports new product launch tooling by providing manufacturing input for development of new processes and improvements to existing ones.
