Job DescriptionPosition Objective:
Design control and associated protective systems for generators and motors for commercial, industrial, and military applications.
Essential
Duties/Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision of more senior level Engineers:
Assist in design control systems which conform to functional specifications and detailed customer requirements.
Communicates with Sales team to support custom quoting and answer customer inquiries
Review and identify critical components within industry standards and customer specific requirements with regard to machine control and protection, design, and LSNA manufacturing practices and capacity
Process incoming orders using a variety of tools and software packages
Participate in supporting applicable manufacturing and testing systems
Utilizes current ERP/PLM systems when processing orders
Experience/Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical power fundamentals and the ability to adapt readily to using customized LSNA design
software
Candidate must be a US citizen as Kato Engineering contracts through the US
Department of Defense
Education:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar technical science field) required.
