    Exciting Opportunity to Join Our Team at Amerimed MIH


    Amerimed MIH, a leading Mobile Integrated Healthcare company in the United States, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding team. If you are looking for a fulfilling role where you can utilize your skills, Amerimed is the place for you.

    We are currently hiring for the position of Amerimed MIH Nurse Practitioner, who will be responsible for conducting in-home medical assessments. Working alongside a Medical Assistant, you will travel in our company vehicle to perform these assessments, which include reviewing patient history, conducting physical exams, making diagnoses, and creating treatment plans that may involve prescribing medication or ordering additional services. All information gathered during visits will be documented in our electronic health records system and shared with the rest of the care team.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performing clinical history-taking and reviewing medical charts
    • Demonstrating excellent physical assessment skills
    • Having a strong understanding of pharmacology and medication prescribing
    • Providing accurate diagnoses and developing comprehensive treatment plans
    • Ordering necessary medications, durable medical equipment, or ancillary services for our patients
    • Communicating effectively with other members of the care team

    Requirements:

    • Minimum age of 21 years
    • Master's Degree or higher in Nursing
    • At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and 2 years as a Registered Nurse
    • Active and unrestricted APRN license in Georgia
    • Certification by the ANCC or AANP
    • Clean driving record and valid Driver's License
    • Successful completion of drug screening and background check

    Job Type: Part-time position with 2-3 eight-hour shifts per day, Mondays to Fridays, with potential for full-time
