    The Work You Will Do:

    This position reports to the Business Support Program Administrator in the Division of Waste Management. Incumbent will be responsible for reviewing, editing and publishing all web updates to the Division's webpage. Incumbent will also provide first-level contact and problem resolution technical assistance regarding software, hardware, communications, network printers and servers for all users in the Division.

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    This position provides first-level contact and problem resolution technical assistance regarding software, hardware, communications, network printers and servers for all users in the Division.

    Resolve user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures. Provide support to users in an effort to resolve items quickly. Escalate problems following established procedures, as needed. Analyzes problems in order to provide troubleshooting support in a networked Windows PC environment as required. Maintains and enhances systems.

    Act as OTIS's liaison for any website or network projects.

    Review, edit and publish all web updates to Division's webpage. Writes XHTML Coding for Web pages. Uses Adobe PhotoShop and Acrobat for graphical elements on the Web.

    Maintain Division's security groups and network drives.

    Is the Division Administrator for Division's SharePoint site, shared mailboxes.

    Use Alchemer/Gitzmo to create Survey's, Quizzes, and Polls.

    Responsible for training staff on 508 compliances; make sure published documents are 508 compliant.

    Mentors the Jr Web Designer in all aspects of Web Design.

    Modify Division forms for the use of Division personnel.

    Performs other duties and tasks as required.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

    Knowledge of XHTML coding.

    Skill in using personal computers for data analysis.

    Ability to problem solve as demonstrated in the skills assessment.

    Ability to write business requirements.

    Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally and in writing.

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

    Ability to think strategically.

    Ability to use varies computer programs to accomplish duties.

    Knowledge of 508 compliance.

    Required Qualifications:

    An associate degree from accredited College or University; or any combination of post-secondary education or verifiable related experience, as described above, for a total of two years.

    Other Job Related Requirements for this position:

    Valid driver's license.
