    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced

    Cath Lab Technologist

    to join a high-acuity STEMI-receiving facility with a busy cardiovascular and interventional program. This role supports complex coronary, vascular, peripheral, neuro, and EP procedures in a multi-suite lab environment.
    This is not a first-time traveler assignment — candidates must have recent Cath Lab experience.
    Schedule

    4x10 Hour Day Shifts

    7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    40 hours guaranteed weekly
    Every other weekend
    First to float
    On-call required

    Call Expectations:
    1 weeknight per week
    1 weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday morning)
    Subject to change based on unit needs
    Lab Environment

    5 Cath Lab Suites

    2 coronary suites
    1 peripheral suite
    1 vascular & neuro suite
    1 EP suite

    10–22 cases per day
    STEMI receiving facility
    Cerner charting system

    Cases performed with:
    2 tech model (1 scrubs / 1 monitors hemodynamics)
    RN administers conscious sedation
    Additional staff member present depending on case complexity
    Lead Tech assigns rooms
    Required Experience & Skills

    Current Cath Lab experience (required)
    Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation
    Airway management
    Balloon pump support
    Cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
    Cardiac/coronary cases
    Vascular & peripheral procedures
    General IR & neuro intervention
    Required Certifications


    ARRT
    Fluoroscopy

    BLS
    (Radiation badge provided by agency)
    Important Notes

    No first-time travelers
    Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract
    Acute care setting
    High procedural volume environment

    Cath Lab Tech – 4x10 Days. 40 hours guaranteed. STEMI receiving facility. Must have recent Cath Lab experience. Conscious & moderate sedation, airway management, cardiac drips, balloon pump experience required. 5-suite lab performing coronary, vascular, peripheral, neuro & EP cases. On-call required (1 weeknight/week + 1 weekend/month). No first-time travelers.
