    As a Behavior Interventionist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with challenging behaviors. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans that promote positive behavior and academic success.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans for students with challenging behaviors;
      • ">
    • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement classroom-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports;
      • ">
    • Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students on social skills and behavioral expectations;
      • ">
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and to involve them in the development and implementation of behavior plans;
      • ">
    • Collect and analyze data on student behavior to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions;
      • ">
    • Stay current with best practices in positive behavioral interventions and supports.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree in special education or a related field;
      • ">
    • Experience working with students with challenging behaviors;

    • Knowledge of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) and crisis intervention techniques;

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;

    • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
