    Description
    The Controller will play a pivotal role overseeing all financial activities related to government contracts.

    The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of government contracting regulations, a strong grasp of Costpoint software, and a background in program control analysis to ensure compliance and financial success.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Lead the financial management of government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Oversee contract administration, including contract setup, modification tracking, and compliance monitoring.
    Manage the financial reporting process for government contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    Collaborate with program managers to provide financial insights and support program control analysis.
    Maintain a strong understanding of Costpoint software and utilize it for financial reporting and analysis.
    Prepare and submit incurred cost submissions (ICS) and other government-required reports.
    Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing processes for government contracts.
    Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
    Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
    Provide leadership and supervision to the finance team.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA a plus).Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial leadership role in government contracting.

    Strong Costpoint software expertise and proficiency.
    Extensive background in contract administration and compliance.
    Program control analysis experience is highly desirable.
    Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation) requirements.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
