    Description

    Responsible for interacting with guests in a

    healthcare setting and managing administrative tasks for the medical team.

    Duties include scheduling patient appointments

    according to Doctor availability, explaining intake forms to new patients and

    processing payments after treatment.

    Will be responsible for rooming patients, assisting

    with chart prep, medical records, etc.

    Greets and assists patients and other guests in a

    professional, friendly, hospitable manner.

    Registers arriving patients in the EMR following

    existing protocols.

    Rooms patients and provides triage services, including

    vital signs, review of symptoms and chief complaint in an electronic medical

    record (EMR).

    The main function of

    the receptionist is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting

    research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions. Job

    Responsibilities: Greets and directs visitors. Provides information and answers

    the telephone or console switchboard. Receives and sends packages via couriers.

    Maintains visitor log and/or call record, provides security passes/badges,

    typing, filing or other simple clerical functions.

    Qualifications

    Healthcare, any experience

    using EPIC is highly preferred

    - Technology proficiency is critical,

    including previous EMR experience and knowledge of Microsoft software products

    such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    - Type 45 WPM.

    - Ability to see, hear, and

    accurately read and write medical terminology.

    - Experience with labs, history and

    vitals, blood draws and IVs necessary.

    - An outstanding bedside manner with

    both pediatric and adult patients.

    Mon-Fri 7:30A – 5P Onsite
