    What You Will Do:

    • Direct the daily quality and production objectives and initiatives, including prioritizing and overseeing parts throughout the shop.
    • Provide leadership and guidance in swiftly adapting to changes in production requirements through daily toolbox meetings and effective communication strategies.
    • Achieve set performance targets by rigorously following the Standard Production System (SPS) protocols, such as Tiered accountability, Visual management systems, Leader Standard Work, and prompt resolution of issues.
    • Ensure seamless process flow by communicating needs to peers in supporting processes. Maintain a collaborative working relationship while holding employees accountable.
    • Promote a culture of world-class safety and promptly address all EH&S requirements. Manage quality, productivity, and process flow to meet MRP demands while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with Core NDT for training and equipment requirements. Work closely with Core MRB leadership to resolve issues affecting nonconformance dispositions.
    • Drive employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities may vary based on skill level, proficiency, and overall performance.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing/operations.
    • U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as per program/contract requirements.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    • Demonstrated success in leadership roles. Proficient in management practices like work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution.
    • Understanding of conventional Quality-related inspection techniques, NDT, CMM, calibration, and other machine shop inspection processes.
    • Experience with Quality Management Systems and proficiency in MRP/ERP/SAP systems used in production control, planning, manufacturing execution, and MRB.
    • Ability to interpret engineering technical data and provide guidance to cross-functional teams based on manufacturing or part drawings.
    • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, AS9102, & ISO.
    • Proven ability to engage with various management levels, external customers, and government entities. Six Sigma or ASQ Certification is a plus.

    Onsite: Employees in Onsite roles primarily work onsite. This includes all production and maintenance personnel, critical to our engine development.

    Candidates will gain insights into role types and current site status during the recruitment process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the individual's responsibility.

    The salary range for this position is $64,000 - $128,000 per year. This estimate encompasses all experience levels. RTX evaluates various factors when extending an offer, including role responsibilities, candidate's background, location, education/training, and key competencies. Hired candidates may be eligible for a range of benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, flexible schedules, employee assistance program, employee education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Successful applicants may also qualify for annual short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to role level and collective bargaining agreement coverage. The payouts are performance-dependent, influenced by individual, business unit, and company performance factors.

    This role is based in the U.S. If the selected candidate resides in a U.S. territory, appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX expects the application window to close about 40 days after posting, with possible variations based on candidate flow and business requirements.
