    Description

    Job Overview:

    The Line Intervention Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for all program elements of Colt's line intervention services including job review & acceptance, equipment allocation & tracking, and supporting the field technicians.

    The Line Intervention SME is responsible for promoting the safety, quality, and integrity culture at Colt.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    ~ Build out and maintain line intervention procedures for the field technicians

    Develop all documentation needed for the line intervention program, including safety, engineering and manufacturing
    Establish experience levels and other skill requirements for all levels of line intervention personnel
    Develop maintenance procedures and processes for all line intervention equipment
    Create a program plan to identify the needed equipment levels to support program growth
    Responsible for the review of client job scopes and align Colt resources to perform the job safely (job acceptance)
    Develop a system for tracking all major equipment sets across the country
    Serve as the technical expert for line intervention including supporting the field technicians when they have technical questions.
    Make recommendations on staffing plans that align with company growth targets
    Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to Colt's Core Values
    Miscellaneous duties as assigned, including non-routine tasks.


    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
    ~ High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or Trade school or related education preferred
    ~12 or more years of experience with hot tapping and line stopping
    ~ Must be able to pass routine and random drug screening, along with maintaining a clean driving record
    ~ Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice
    ~ Must be able to understand, speak, and write English
    ~ Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines
    ~ Knowledge of plant maintenance and repair work preferred
    ~ Must possess a valid driver's license

    Work Conditions
    Position is based out of the corporate office in Pasadena, Texas
    Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and customer personnel
    Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection on a per job basis
    May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis
    Physical and Mental Requirements
    # Ability to Communicate with customers in high stress environments,
    # Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively on a variety of Job scopes for different locations
    # Excellent communication skills, must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures, evaluate each individual job scope, and mitigate all safety hazards with proper safety precautions and personal protective equipment.
