- Support and assist psychotherapists, nurses, and dietary staff in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu environment
- Observe and report changes in patient's behaviors, physical symptoms, and mental health status to the clinical team
- Serve as point of contact for new patients entering the program orienting them to program structure, space and rules
- Co-facilitate community meetings with therapy staff, encourage group engagement
- Participate in milieu activities, reinforce effective interactions and provide redirection for ineffective interactions
- Provide supported interventions in the milieu to facilitate patients practicing DBT skills
- Assist with meal/snack preparation with direction from dietary staff
- Support Diet Technician & CNA responsibilities as needed (vitals, snack/meal prep, medication passes, bag checks, etc.)
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred
- Regularly support programming on one or more weekend days preferred
- Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and the ability to transport patients safely in facility vehicle highly preferred
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check (Federal & State)
