    LIMITED MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST WITH MEDICAL ASSISTING SKILLS (LMRT) Instructor

    Full-Time / Part-Time

    Dallas, TX


    Are you a Radiologic Technologist or LMRT who trains new hires or oversees student interns? Are you ready to train the next generation of Allied Health Care workers? The College of Health Care Professions is hiring caring, compassionate industry professionals who love learning.


    Summary:


    Works under the direction of the LIMITED MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST WITH MEDICAL ASSISTING SKILLS (LMRT) Program Director and Director of Education.

    The instructor will ensure ethical conduct, sound educational practices, and the academic development of each student, with a focus on the Mission Objectives of the College of Health Care Professions.

    In this role, the Instructor delivers the curriculum to help students achieve their educational goals.

    Instructors also manage their classrooms and promote a positive and engaging learning environment, providing support, tutoring, and other assistance as needed.

    Instructors are expected to "model" the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Utilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessment mechanisms, and classroom management techniques to provide an engaged classroom experience to students.
    • Present material to successfully meet the learning objectives of each course.
    • Ensure instructional materials and equipment are ready for class.
    • Participate in faculty assessment and professional development.
    • Actively participate in departmental meetings, review and analyze data, compile reports, and meet administrative deadlines.
    • Monitor student attendance and submit it daily.
    • Prepare weekly lesson plans and follow syllabi to maintain a pace to meet requirements.
    • Grade tests and submit grades on time to the registrar's office.
    • Maintain and clean classrooms, laboratory areas, and faculty offices.
    • Arrive for work, be in your classroom to greet students, and begin class on time.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education/Experience:


    LIMITED MEDICAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST WITH MEDICAL ASSISTING SKILLS (LMRT) or Certificate Program with 4+ years of experience or completion of a Radiologic Technology program with 3+ years of experience.
