    Description

    The successful candidate must have previous video production experience and be able to conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit compelling content in support of station clients, news products, public service, and programming across multiple platforms. The ability work well with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders is vital.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Produce a wide range of video content, including commercials, PSA's, station promos, and occasional long-form videos for distribution across multiple platforms.
  • Take charge of directing and shooting video productions both in-studio and on location.
  • Apply a sharp eye for lighting, staging, framing, and innovative videography techniques to create captivating videos.
  • Manage producers and workflow to ensure timely execution and delivery of high-quality videos approved by relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop advertising concepts and bring them to life by producing, scriptwriting, shooting, and editing.
  • Oversee all phases of production, from conceptualization and scripting to pre-production and post-production.
  • Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in producing, shooting, and editing impactful video content.
  • Strong videography skills – showcasing an eye for composition.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Premiere and After Effects.
  • Exceptional project management skills and a track record of successfully completing projects from initiation to client approval.
  • Advanced knowledge of post-production processes, including media management and video encoding in various formats.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse projects and collaborate across various production styles while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Capacity to organize and maintain digital assets, archives, and editing systems.
  • Staying current with the latest trends in content creation and video production.
  • Ability to routinely handle equipment weighing over 40 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • The base salary compensation range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
