    KEY OBJECTIVES


    Responsible for Major Accounts Property growth and underwriting business strategies by executing upon established team action plans and goals for the Pacific region.

    Key measurements include achieving profitable underwriting results through the growth, development, and underwriting of the business.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    PROFITABILITY & PRODUCTION

    • Goal Achievement Execute Chubb Major Accounts Property production and business strategies to achieve profitable results through the underwriting, development and growth of regionally produced accounts.

    • Maintain renewals and expand capacity to achieve renewal premium retention plan
    • Growth Strategies – Execute upon the assigned roles per the written regional marketing plans and strategies

    This includes:

    • Key Client & Broker Relations including Sales Calls & attendant strategies
    • Completing Target Account responsibilities & Cross Sell Strategies
    • Underwriting Integrity Achieving all underwriting standards as outlined by the Major Accounts Property Home office and all applicable Underwriting Guidelines, Authorities, and Position Papers

    This includes:

    • Risk Selection
    • Pricing & Attachments including Rate Change Goals
    • Terms & Condition
    • Execute the Region's Major Accounts Property Marketing Plans including the development and implementation of a marketing plan for assigned producers and geographic territories. The focus should be on increased external visibility, penetrating additional distribution sources, active client relationship management, pursuit of target accounts/occupancies/markets and Chubb North America Major Accounts cross divisional efforts.

    PERFORMANCE MEASURES

    • Achievement of Premium Goals & Budgets
    • Adherence to Underwriting Goals, Guidelines & Objectives
    • Actuarial Profitability studies on Book of business
    • Results of Underwriting Audits (conducted by any party)
    • Leadership and mentorship abilities
    • Expense management for team budget within guidelines
    • Minimum of 7 Years Property Underwriting Experience
    • Business Acumen
    • Leadership skills
    • High Level of Product Knowledge including:
    • Exposure Analysis
    • Form & Coverages
    • Rating Principles and Mechanics
    • Negotiation & Presentation Skills
    • Experience with Broker Relations & Customer Management
    • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skill
    • Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
    Travel may be required for client meetings/marketing trips within the Regions

    The pay range for the role is $101,000 to $172,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
