    Position Overview: As a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with AdvantageCare Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in our residents' journey to recovery and improved quality of life. Working under the supervision of our Physical Therapists, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on therapy, and delivering compassionate care to our residents.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with Physical Therapists to assess residents' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
    • Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
    • Provide hands-on assistance and guidance during therapy sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness.
    • Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques to promote independence.
    • Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and comprehensively.
    • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care and optimize outcomes.

    Qualifications:
    • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Pennsylvania.
    • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, but not required.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
