    I am currently working with an AM law level firm, who are actively looking to recruit an attorney to join their highly regarded data privacy practice in Denver.

    Responsibilities:

    • Offer advice and counsel to clients on privacy and cybersecurity matters, including drafting privacy policies, compliance with applicable privacy and security laws.
    • Assist with the implementation of internal policies and governance,
    • Assist with internal investigations to assess corporate privacy compliance, data breach preparedness and response, and product design and development.
    • Draft and negotiate data privacy aspects of commercial contracts for technology and other fortune 500 companies.
    • Draft and negotiate agreements for data processing, SaaS, and intellectual property licensing.
    • Provide M&A support on data privacy and security issues.

    Requirements:

    • JD from a top-tier law school
    • Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
    • 2+ years of experience in privacy law, ideally gained at a leading law firm, or sophisticated in-house department.
    • Experience advising clients regarding privacy and data protection laws.
    • Experience drafting and revising privacy aspects of commercial contracts for technology transactions.
