- Attending internal project coordination/kickoff meeting to ascertain project requirements and specifications; assist Project Management team with creation of project folders, developing scope of work, schedule of values and project schedules;
- Drafting telecommunication room plans and rack elevations including cable ID and pathways;
- Transcribing information from field-prepared documents into AutoCAD format;
- Creating and redlining drawing and documents in Bluebeam;
- Generating panel schedules and run sheets based on project drawings;
- Creating wraparound labels for cables as well as panel and faceplate labels based on the panel schedules and run sheets;
- Preparing test results and reconciling results with panel schedules and run sheets to verify that all cables have been tested and passed;
- Submitting all necessary warranty paperwork and test results to manufacturers to receive warranty;
- Setting up drawings for Project Management team including inserting scaling information, product data, shop drawings, labeling plans, borders, and client presentation;
- Reading and interpreting blueprint and architectural drawings;
- Assisting Project Management team with take-off meetings, estimates and proposals;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD systems; 2023LT;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize job responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment;
- Professional, team-oriented work ethic;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and self-auditing skills;
- Experience in performing basic mathematical calculations;
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred;
- Adherence to regular attendance and normal scheduled hours;
- Willingness to be flexible and to work overtime, often on short notice;
- Due to client requirements, US citizenship is required.
