Description
Material HandlerPurposeThe Material Handler performs delivery and staging of WIP material. Responsible for issuing material for the purchase to stock materials, and maintaining the tooling database. Work effectively with internal and external customers.Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentTasks/ResponsibilitiesStage incoming raw material for assigned work centersStage tooling/fixtures for assigned work centersIssue material for assigned work centersLocate raw material issued to routersAble to operate the saw when needed per call out on routersInspect tooling/fixtures when placing back into inventory and take required actionTrack jobs on the floor needing status/updatedDeliver raw material to designated work areasMaintain tooling databaseMaintain purchase to stock inventoryAble to lift, place, carry and push objects up to 50lbsMust be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, crawl or stoop for long periods of timeDelivery and/or pick up outside processing orders from processing houses.

General Requirements:

Training - ensures required training classes are completed by the scheduled time.
