Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Hospital Pharmacy Services is an integral member of the Division of Patient Care Services leadership team within Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS).
This individual provides vision and guidance to develop and maintain a comprehensive medication management system excelling in service, safety and quality.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
Preferred/Optional:
Doctorate in Pharmacy
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
Eight years progressive experience in hospital pharmacy setting. Five years management experience.
Preferred/Optional:
Two years pharmacy management experience in a tertiary level health care facility.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required:
State of Wisconsin Pharmacy Licensure or eligibility for WI Pharmacist Licensure, and Licensure must be obtained within three month of hire.
