    Who are we? An Introduction

    Guardian Medical Services is a medical transportation services company servicing facilities and patients in northern Virginia. We provide services from Basic Life Saving (BLS) to Advanced Life Saving (ALS) to critical care transport.

    Day to day as a Paramedic

    As an EMS crew member at Guardian Medical Services, you will play a crucial role in transporting patients to local hospitals and medical facilities. Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, driving the ambulance, and ensuring all interactions are well-documented in our electronic health record system.     What we're looking for in a Paramedic

    To excel as an EMS crew member at Guardian Medical Services you must possess specific qualifications and skills. These include being a High School graduate or having a GED certification, holding a Commonwealth of Virginia Paramedic Certification, and having a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Additionally, you must be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and have completed the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC).

    A Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) certification would be a bonus. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for effective patient care and collaboration with the team. Candidates must also be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.

    Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

    • High School graduate or GED certification
    • Commonwealth of Virginia Paramedic Certification
    • Driver's License
    • Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with company policy
