    Summary:

    • We are searching for a skilled Cloud Engineer to create, execute, and maintain our cloud infrastructure to support the growth and innovation of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in cloud computing technologies, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous learning. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to provide scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions that align with business needs.
    • This opportunity is for a temporary / hourly project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, deploy, and oversee cloud infrastructure solutions using prominent cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Establish and manage cloud services, covering compute, storage, networking, databases, and security, in accordance with industry best practices and organizational demands.
    • Create and automate cloud deployment, configuration, and management procedures using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
    • Enhance cloud resources for optimum performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability, utilizing features such as auto-scaling, load balancing, and serverless computing.
    • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security, and implement preemptive measures to ensure continuity and adherence.
    • Enforce security protocols and top practices to safeguard cloud infrastructure and data, incorporating identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
    • Engage with development teams to promote cloud-native application development, containerization, and microservices architecture.
    • Offer technical guidance and assistance for cloud-related projects, migrations, and endeavors.
    • Tackle and resolve cloud infrastructure and application challenges, collaborating closely with internal teams and cloud service providers.
    • Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies, trends, and optimal practices to foster innovation and ongoing enhancement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related domain.
    • A comprehensive comprehension of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services provided by leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Practical experience with cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
    • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
    • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is advantageous.
    • Understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies, encompassing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
    • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, GDPR, HIPAA).
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical issues and steer them to resolution.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with an aptitude for effective teamwork.
