Virgin Voyages is seeking a dynamic Director of Cyber Security to lead and fortify our cybersecurity initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive cyber security strategies, ensuring the protection of our IT infrastructure as our fleet expands.

We're looking for a proactive leader with a deep understanding of cyber security threats and mitigation techniques, ready to drive innovation and safeguard our operations.

What You'll Be Up To:

• Develop, implement, and continuously update a comprehensive cyber security strategy aligned with

organizational goals and risk tolerance.

• Lead the operation and continual improvement of the Cyber Security Operations Center, ensuring

proactive monitoring, threat detection, and rapid response.

• Conduct thorough Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessments for all operational areas, including ship and

shoreside facilities.

• Formulate and enforce robust cyber security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Champion incident response planning, including simulation exercises, to ensure preparedness for potential

cyber incidents.

• Advise senior management on cyber security trends, best practices, and emerging threats, guiding

strategic decision-making.

• Oversee the integration of cyber security considerations into the development and deployment of new

technologies and systems.

• Lead security audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and

industry standards.

• Drive a company-wide cyber security awareness program, educating employees on security best practices

and threat avoidance.

• Manage budgeting and resource allocation for the cybersecurity department, ensuring optimal use of

funds for security initiatives.

• Mentor and develop a team of cyber security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and

professional growth.

Superpowers:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing cyber security operations and strategy.
• Strong knowledge of current cyber security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• In-depth knowledge of network security and networking technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on implementing authentication,

authorization, and encryption solutions.

• Experience evaluating new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver comprehensive technical

reports.
