    General Description /

    Primary Purpose:

    The University seeks to attract an active, culturally, and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber, skilled in the scholarship of teaching, discovery, application, and integration of knowledge.

    Responsibilities for the position include laboratory instruction, working with Lab Manager and Lab Technician to provide lab support each term, determining supplies and consumables to be ordered to support teaching labs, and determining that lab equipment and lab space are in good condition to teach laboratory experiments.


    Job Function:
    In addition to teaching responsibilities, service to the department, college, and university will be required.

    Faculty Position Required Qualifications:
    Lab lecturer candidates are required to have at least a M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (with at least 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry), but a Ph.
    In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
    Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University's Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator
