    A Biotechnology Research organization west of Boston is hiring a Research Administrator to join their growing team. The Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting all grants and contracts activities including grant application preparation, monitoring grant & contract budgets and expenses, managing compliance with government requirements and providing internal office administrative and facilities support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting grant and contract administration
    • Assisting with preparation of grant applications
    • Monitoring grant and contract budgets and expenses
    • Managing compliance with government requirements for federal grant recipients including external audits
    • Managing contracts and communications with government agencies, subcontractors, collaborators, etc.
    • Managing human subjects policies, training and compliance
    • Facility management
    • IT support liaison
    • Managing shipping/receiving
    • Monitoring laboratory supplies inventory

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree
    • 2-3 years of R&D business management experience in the health & life sciences space
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and communication skills
    • Flexibility in taking on new tasks
