Job Title: Information Systems Security Officer

Job Summary: The Information Systems Security Officer plays a key role in supporting and maintaining the client's cybersecurity program. Responsibilities include managing cybersecurity for operational efficiency and compliance across all networks, systems, and applications. The role involves overseeing Security Assessments (SA), proposing information security solutions, monitoring networks, systems, and applications, and supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Education and Experience Requirements:

Responsible for ensuring information security within an assigned business/project area based on key risk areas outlined in the Information Security policy, under the guidance of the Information Security management team.
Conduct Information Security risk assessments and compliance evaluations for infrastructure and application assets according to industry standards and regulations.
Implement controls for identified Information Security risks in the business area.
Create and maintain certification and accreditation documentation for each information system in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support audit and client engagements, coordinate the submission of Information Security deliverables, and address audit concerns.
Collaborate with stakeholders and the Information Security team on project expectations and process improvements.
Promote Information Security awareness within the organization through various communication channels.
Work with the Information Security team on secure design, process enhancements, and recertification of company assets.
Travel may be required up to 25%.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience in security or technology-related roles.
Work on complex issues requiring in-depth analysis and judgment.
Ability to communicate technical information in business terms and collaborate effectively.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
