- Provides leadership for driving care delivery, designing services, staffing, and programs for high-quality patient care at optimal cost.
- Assesses and monitors clinical nursing practice, evaluates processes, and improves patient care systems.
- Acts as a liaison between administration, physicians, staff, and patients, ensuring effective communication and acting as a patient advocate.
- Evaluates department goals alignment with Regional strategies, leads initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and care quality.
- Leads continuous improvements for customer service and operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- May perform patient care when necessary to maintain clinical expertise.
- Incorporates the KP Nursing Vision, Model, and Values into practice.
- Hires, trains, supervises, and develops staff, creating opportunities for improvement.
- Communicates goals, accountabilities, and priorities to staff.
- Minimum 7 years of healthcare administration, nursing, or related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field; or 4 years of related experience.
- Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required from American Heart Association.
- Experience in short and long-range planning.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
