    Maronick Law is currently looking to hire an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate would have experience working in criminal defense and is not afraid of litigation work.

    A NORMAL DAY:
    Speaking with potential new clients
    Assisting the production staff with client demand packages
    Providing existing clients with case updates
    Conducting legal research using various resources and legal software programs
    Draft legal pleadings, motions, pleadings and briefs
    Settlement negotiations
    Present legal arguments in court
    Stay up on changes to Maryland law as it affects our client base
    Maintain an organized client case file with all appropriate information related to a specific case

    MUST HAVES:
    Active Maryland law license
    Desire to work in an office environment
    Litigation experience

    NICE TO HAVES:
    Experience working with Criminal Defense
    Experience with Family law
    Experience with Personal Injury
    Experience with Bankruptcy matters

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
    Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
    Excellent legal research and writing skills
    Effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleague
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff
