    ESY School Nurse

    Summer Program: July 8, August 15, 2024

    Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

    Qualifications:
    • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
    • Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
    • Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing.
    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Student Services may find appropriate and acceptable.
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide nursing services to student populations on a day to day, as needed basis.
    • Assessment, triage and treatment of acute illness.
    • Administer medications.
    • Communicate with parents, faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed.
    • Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness.
    • Participate in staff meetings as needed, providing updates and advice to the team, including parents and guardians.
    • Work collaboratively with the ESY Coordinator and colleagues to provide effective student support.
    • Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Student Services and Extended Year Coordinator.
    Salary: In accordance with FEA contract
