Job Purpose:

This Project Manager role is an exciting opportunity to work with the business and technology teams to join the project management team to project manage the Lights On Regulatory Project for the Newton North America business.

In this business and technology facing role, you should be resourceful, energetic, and ready to hit the ground running. You'll need to work well in a team, but also be self-sufficient. You should be ready to share ideas and fresh perspectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Project manage the Newton North America component of Newton's Lights On Regulatory Project to ensure that Newton are compliant with all regulatory change as outlined by Newton's Lights On Regulatory Project steering committee
Ensure that the project and allocated project resources remain focused on deliverables and timescales as required by the business, project steering committees and governance hierarchy within Newton
Identify and track risks, issues and actions associated with the project, ensuring these are managed to resolution
Complete other project related tasks as required when appropriate within the project, this could include: gathering business requirements, assessing and analysing data, assisting in the definition of solutions, and the implementation of tools
Project manage other, both technology and business related, projects and work items where necessary as directed by Newton's Head of Projects
Provide regular reporting to project stakeholders and management
Travelling as required to other sites from time to time, as project demands dictate


Experience and Qualifications Required:

Exceptional Project Management skills with relevant, demonstrable experience of delivery using a variety of project management methodologies including scrum, agile and waterfall.

Previous use of tools such as Confluence and Jira is preferable.
Experience of managing regulatory projects in the investment management industry is required
Experience of managing projects involving the identification and extraction of data from platforms
Excellent project planning skills with the ability to identify, track and manage dependencies from multiple sources
Excellent project financial management skills
Assimilate, translate and communicate elements of the project in a clear and concise manner
Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
Self-directed, adaptable, flexible and professional
