Description
Executes the Learning and Organizational Development strategy in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, performance improvement and leadership development, coaching and development planning, and competency management. Develops leaders and builds bench strength to meet the current and future needs. Designs, develops and implements interventions to support these efforts including: training, individual/team assessments, coaching, teambuilding and performance development. Implements learning technology interventions.
The current strategic plan of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital calls for a program to support an equitable workplace free of barriers for women in STEM to work, advance, and lead. This goal will be realized, in large part, through the Program Manager, who will be responsible for the strategic visioning, planning, design, development, and delivery of all Women in Leadership (WIL) Programs in the St. Jude Leadership Academy. In this role, you will interact with Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, key stakeholders, and external business partners to build leadership capabilities for today and the future. Additionally, the program manager will measure program impact over time and refresh content and instructional strategies as institutional priorities shift and change. The WIL program will include three core components:Education: Formal classroom leadership program - with a series of custom designed modules/workshops Exposure: Sponsor mentoring - targeted to the developmental needs of program participants. This also will include an ongoing series of "fire side chats" - special development topic discussions facilitated for program participants by members of the St. Jude Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Experiences: Capstone projects that enable the participants to conduct problem solving exercises relevant to St. Jude
You will be successful in this role with the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Minimum Education and/or Training:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Master's/PhD preferred
Minimum Experience:
Minimum Requirement: 4+ years of experience related to an area within Talent Development or L&D.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,720 - $126,880 per year for the role of Senior Talent Development Advisor: Women in Leadership.Explore our exceptional benefits
