Salary: Hourly rate of $60-$65 (based on experience)

Schedule: Mondays from 7:00am-4:00pm, and Thursdays from 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Summary: The Registered Dental Hygienist performs oral prophylaxis procedures by removing hard deposits and stains under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This position requires a valid hygiene state license, including an X-ray license, and current CPR certification.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform complete oral prophylaxis procedures.
• Take digital x-rays and evaluate oral tissue health.
• Administer injectable anesthesia and nitrous oxide/oxygen.
• Scale, polish, and apply fluoride as necessary.
• Perform periodontal soft tissue curettage and root planning.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention.
• Record patient information accurately in the dental software system.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hygiene room and equipment.
• Manage supplies and assist in other office areas as needed.

• Valid hygiene state license with X-ray certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and patient management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix).
