    Description

    An Electronics Engineer is needed for an immediate direct hire need in Columbus, Ohio. The role will involve designing, prototyping, and testing electronic instruments and firmware for monitoring behavior and physiology in

    lab animals. Involved in assessment of product requirements, electrical schematic design, hardware selection and

    validation, PCB design, firmware development and product testing and approval.

    Title: Electronics Engineer

    Location: Onsite in Columbus, OH

    Duration: Full-time

    Salary: $80-120k DOE

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Use software to perform circuit analysis, run simulations, create schematic drawings, and create PCBs.
    • Collaborate with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure projects are completed to
    • specifications.
    • Developing effective maintenance, testing and quality control procedures.
    • Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
    • Showing initiative and keeping up with advancements in Electronics.

    REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
    • 4 to 10 years of relevant professional experience required.
    • Experience with PCB layout and electrical schematic drawings.
    • Industrial design and/or firmware coding and testing experience.
    • Exposure to troubleshooting electronics, sensors, and sensor systems a plus.
    • Prior experience and knowledge in electronic design.
    • Prior experience and knowledge in firmware development.
    • Basic understanding of digital circuit design and analysis.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
