- Receives/Reviews progress and evaluates results of experiments or projects under control or supervisory responsibility.

- Lead and mentor a team of computational biologists in the analysis of NGS data, including but not limited to genomics and transcriptomics data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute bioinformatics pipelines for processing and analyzing multi-omics data, to uncover novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
- Drive the development of bioinformatics tools and resources to facilitate data analysis, interpretation, and visualization, ensuring reproducibility and scalability of computational workflows.
- PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral or professional experience in bioinformatics, with a focus on cancer research preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing NGS data for biomarker discovery and translational research.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python, as well as experience with bioinformatics tools and packages for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and cloud-based bioinformatics platforms.
- Familiarity with version control systems and software development methodologies for collaborative and reproducible research.
- Experience in building bioinformatics tools and pipelines to support large-scale omics data analysis and processing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational biology, expertise in statistical analysis and programming languages such as R, Perl, and Python, and a proven track record of leading bioinformatics projects.
